Companion death!?

Rumors are that the character amy shall be killed off in the next series (part a, 1st 1/2 , series 6)

Apaarantly, Matt Smith said he would do all he can to save the character Amy from being axed from the show.

She's not bad... In more ways than one But I personally get annoyed that she always saves the day and the Doctor just steps back... That isn't Amy's fault though, its Smelly Moffat's fault.

I will miss Amy when she goes. She has a great personality, but I'd be interested to see who the Doctor picks up next.

To be honest, I don't think Moffet would kill Amy DURING the series. Maybe at the end, but not the middle.

Amy couldn't have died this series, as they had already filmed a later episode (was it Night Terrors?) when they were filming the opening two, so we knew she was staying on, unless she did a Rory and died mid-series, then came back later on.

Amy won't be leaving any time soon. The latest I could see her lasting until is the 50th anniversary, and then her character would begin to expire (if Steven does not write her correctly). I think I would like her to leave during or at the end of the 50th celebrations, because then there is no chance for Steven to ruin the character, or make her "dry". Leaving in the 50th would mean that she could possibly return at a later time, with a "fresh" style, and possibly with a new Head Writer for DW, and for them to have the challenge of writing her, so it would be good to see that happen.

Yeah that would be a good ending GD!

I am going to lock this now as we know how it turned out!
