Underground Toys hint at the 2011 SDCC figures

This was tweeted by UT on their twitter and well since it being posted its mysteriously disappeared....

Didn't see it myself but lots of people have said they have, look on DWT if you don't believe me.

This sounds interesting. I do hope any figure exclusives they do release are of a good quality and are new characters and/molds. Some more companions would be nice or new monsters like the Wirrn, Sutekh or Eldrad.

By this I think we may have an announcement by tonight!

I'd love a classic Sarah Jane and Harry, but I don't think it will happen.

Thing is for a Sarah and Harry back they would have to get permission from both of their estates due to both of their sad passings.

I really want a Jo!

Yeah. That's why I don't think we'll get them. Apparently you don't own your image rights when you have passed though which is interesting. It would probably be the BBC owning them and not wanting to release them just out of a bit if respect.

But surely that would mean…NO BRIGADIER

Possibly afterwards. Maybe in a year or two. But it has been a year since his sad passing. I think it would be morally wrong to bring out a figure of him now. After all, they brought out the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Doctors, Delgado's Master and so on. If they do bring them out, it probably won't be for at least another year.

Well its almost 10 past 5 and still nothing, more delays

10 o'clock, and still nothing. Not really, though I heard on Twitter, they will be releasing a new figure range of some sort and it won't be an exclusive. That's good. I hope it's a new classic figure with a new mold and paint jobs.

Umm it is the River Song figure TFD!
